“Robots, electric go-karts, interactive art, flying machines, and so much more to see and do –KID Museum is hosting the Silver Spring Mini Maker Faire on Sunday, September 29th at Veteran’s Plaza and Great Hall in Silver Spring, from 12:00-5:00p.m. The Maker Faire features free family activities, two performance stages, and innovative projects created by inventors, hackers, crafters, artists, and do-it-yourselfers of all kinds.

Differentiate Instructions for your Staff

On Friday I had the opportunity to introduce a new teacher to each of the Discovery products to which our school subscribes. This science and math teacher had never seen any of the DE products and was quickly engaged and excited about the impact they would have in his classroom.  When we started on the Science Techbook, he was rapidly navigating through the site and asking questions about the endless possibilities available for his students.  “This will be a dynamic classroom, I can’t wait to begin.
